Oak & Threads started with a love for making things by hand and a desire to build something of my own.
I’ve always been drawn to creative hobbies and the slower moments that come with them. Reading became one of those things too, and somewhere along the way, my love for books and creating came together.
Bookish apparel felt like the perfect place to start because there are few things I love more than being comfortable and getting lost in a good book. I’m also the kind of reader who finishes a book on my Kindle, loves it so much that I buy the physical copy—and then never crack it open. It goes straight onto the shelf like a little trophy.
That love for books, cozy clothes, and creating with my hands became Oak & Threads.
I wanted to create pieces that feel like they were made by someone who gets it—the late-night chapters, the ever-growing TBR, the fictional characters we get a little too attached to, and the shelves filled with stories we couldn’t leave behind.
Oak & Threads is starting small, with thoughtfully made bookish pieces and dreams of craft-market weekends, meeting fellow readers, and slowly growing this little shop into something special.
